Fauvist-inspired Portrait Painting of Derrick Adams is in Progress

I’m excited to share an update on the portrait painting of Derrick Adams, which is part of my Black Male Professor Series and is inspired by the vibrant and expressive style of Fauvism. The artwork is progressing well, with bold colors and dynamic brushwork that truly reflect his unique essence. I’m particularly pleased with how the background incorporates elements of geometric abstraction, a movement that I greatly admire. I'm looking forward to seeing how the piece continues to evolve!
